What is the Produce Prescription Program?
Produce Rx is a 6-month program that provides fresh produce and blood pressure management and education to participants living in West Dallas, TX. The goal of this program is to help participants with high blood pressure better manage their blood pressure.

This program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program. The Produce Prescription Program is a partnership between Texas A&M Institute for Advancing Health through Agriculture, Brother Bill’s Helping Hand, West Dallas Multipurpose Center, Restorative Farms, and the American Heart Association.

What should I do as a Participant?
Produce Bag
Receive your produce bag every week for 6 months.
Classes
Attend nutrition education and health classes led by educator Liz Espie.
Blood Pressure
Measure your blood pressure everyday and write it down.
Participate in the Facebook group by reading, commenting, and reacting to posts!
